In persian. But my favorite Islamic republic show, the same guys who broke the fact that Israel was conducting operations in Isfahan. In the most recent show they display the full gamut of discordant voices within regime supporters. It is noteworthy that this cacophony is allowed in public view. It seems many Islamists are now wondering what Palestine has gotten them. The cleric says that protecting the shia hegemony (from annihilation) is the priority now.

Another thing they voice is something I tried to explain for seb over a year ago, that Hamas *tolerates* the Islamic republic. This fact has now dawned on these guys. After all their sacrifices and 45 years of investment, they at best have a neutral standing in Palestine.

I almost feel sorry for them.

Funny how the scientist who coined the phrase "Alpha Male" says the average scientificistical expert idjit has completely misunderstood the concept, and that this abuse of the term began with the GOP and Newt Gingrich who interpreted it to mean "mean bully", as the scientist Frans de Waal calls it. And from there it spread to the Gekko cutthroat Wall Street community, whose understanding of the meaning of life is pure greed. I know what is going in here though. WTB who has without exception used the Newt Gungrich version of “alpha male” as a crude insult has discovered Frans De Waal. This after I explained recently that even in Chimp societies the most stable Alphas are high in empathy and reciprocity. This is indeed based on Frans De Waals work on chimp, whose work I have cited on this board.

Now WTB is trying to pretend he knew about the work of a “real scientist” all along, spamming OT in this thread to get my attention.

After a 16% rise in gas consumption and increased electricity usage, government offices, public institutions, and most activities in two-thirds of Iran’s provinces were shut down on Saturday, January 11, due to energy shortages.

Government offices in Tehran Province were closed on Saturday, and schools operated remotely. In East Azerbaijan, schools also held remote classes, and government offices shifted to telecommuting.
