rank | Wed Jun 24 03:45:21 Self checkouts have more issues than just people stealing. We had them everywhere, than alot of scale back. People also tend to be less loyal shop less etc. Self checkouts are nice as an option that compliments human cashiers. The doorman story goes, they replaced hotel doormen with an automatic door opener. The hotel now has homeless people in the vestibule, loses a level of status and has less loyal and less satisfied customers. |
