Utopia Talk / Politics / Kamallas bot farm accounts

For people who point the finger about disinformation their followers have a rather sophisticated bot farm cranking out support.

http://the...malas-khive-trolls-harassment/

**For context, AFAIK Kammalla Harris/Biden had no direct involvement in this.**

The issue is that its not reported by most legacy media sources.Which the DNC does have deep rooted ties into influencing what they cover.

what issue isn't reported?

buying followers & bots is probably standard practice for politicians (plus you acknowledge this isn't even by Kamala, just her supporters)

& Sally Albright doesn't seem to be some Dem Party kingpin... sifting past "When Harry Met Sally" results (apparently that was Meg Ryan's character name), can barely find any info on her

And nobody suggested he did. I do recall trump making some big deal about his follower number dropping when twitter cleared out bots, but I don't recall any huge stink over bots on twitter being directly related to trump.

also of note is this anecdote:

"
Trump was meeting with lawmakers after he announced that the U.S. would pull out of Syria. Like his former Defense Secretary, who quit over the decision, the members of Congress were trying to convince Trump to change his mind. But Trump was more interested in how the decision was playing on Twitter than on Capitol Hill or at the Pentagon. So he called Scavino into the meeting:

“Tell them how popular my policy is,” Trump instructed Scavino, who, according to two people with knowledge of the exchange, proceeded to walk lawmakers through the positive reaction he had picked up on social media about Trump’s Syria decision.
"

which sounds completely credible as well as completely fucking nuts

so a guarantee he was flooded w/ bots trying to influence -him- & steer his idiocy, why wouldn't people/countries do it

The American blog pushing Xinjiang denialism

A website called The Grayzone has made a name for itself by denying China's campaign of cultural and demographic genocide in Xinjiang.

Why it matters: Chinese government officials and state media outlets are citing The Grayzone and its contributors with growing frequency as Beijing attempts to cast doubt on accusations of atrocities in its far Northwest region.

Details: American Max Blumenthal founded The Grayzone in 2015 and serves as its editor, describing his website as an independent news outlet. Blumenthal also frequently appears as a commentator on Russian state-affiliated news outlets including RT and Sputnik.

Grayzone drew the attention of Chinese diplomats and state media in December 2019, when it published a lengthy article attempting to discredit Adrian Zenz, a researcher whose work has helped uncover the existence and scale of mass internment camps in Xinjiang.
What's happening: Blumenthal has increasingly become a Chinese state media darling, giving interviews with Chinese state broadcaster CGTN and the Chinese tabloid Global Times.

He often claims that evidence of crimes against humanity in Xinjiang is exaggerated or manufactured as part of a U.S. government attempt to discredit China.
China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Hua Chunying tweeted a Grayzone article claiming to debunk what it calls "dubious" research into the mass internment camps that China has set up for Muslims in Xinjiang.
The Chinese embassy in Germany cited a Grayzone article in an April post on the embassy website claiming China's early handling of the early coronavirus outbreak was beyond reproach.
Chinese diplomatic Twitter accounts and other state-affiliated accounts show a high degree of engagement with Grayzone articles and Blumenthal's own tweets, according to data compiled by the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMFUS)'s Hamilton 2.0 dashboard, which tracks Chinese and Russian state-affiliated social media accounts.
It's not just the Chinese government that is amplifying Grayzone articles.

Gabby Stern, the World Health Organization communications director, retweeted a quote from a Grayzone article in July casting doubt on Taiwan's early transparency regarding the coronavirus.
The website has also attracted criticism from some U.S. elected officials.

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), ranking member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said it was "deeply disturbing" to see a WHO-affiliated account tweeting out an article from The Grayzone.
The big picture: The Chinese government is increasingly adopting Russia's disinformation playbook, Laura Rosenberger, director of the Alliance for Securing Democracy at the German Marshall Fund of the United States, told Axios in a March interview.

One classic Russian disinformation tactic is the amplification of "conspiracy websites," which Rosenberger said are third-party sites without funding transparency that promote the same theories the state aims to boost.
“Having westerners say things that are in line with the state narrative helps bolster their claims,” Darren Byler, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Center for Asian Studies, said in a July 30 interview with Coda Story.
What they're saying: Blumenthal replied to a list of emailed questions from Axios with the following statement...

"Since The Grayzone — an independent outlet which, contrary to your McCarthyite insinuations, is not funded by any state — repeatedly exposed Washington's favorite Xinjiang expert Adrian Zenz not merely as a fraud, but as an anti-gay, far-right evangelical thirsting for the Rapture, Cold War ideologues like yourself who have relied on his dubious research have waged a desperate campaign to suppress our factual journalism."

Flipping Sides After a Trip to Russia

An interview in which Blumenthal laments leftists who would supports Bashar Al-Assad in Syria
Max Blumenthal got his start writing about Syria in 2011, where he was staunchly on the side of rebels against Assad. He spoke passionately of atrocities committed by the Assad regime, even resigning from a Beirut paper in 2012 because he claimed they were “Assad apologists”, who “paid me pathetically, barely enough to pay rent in my New York apartment.”
He even goes so far as to say that some of his colleagues in Syria were so caught up in “Anti-Imperialism” that they found themselves in the warped position of defending Assad, whom he viewed as a murderer.
He was accompanied in this endeavor by his mustachioed Brooklyn hipster side-kick Ben Norton, who, unlike Max, dispensed his Syria expertise via internet from New York.
It’s unclear what qualifications Norton possessed at the time however, other than a willingness to follow Max’s every editorial lead, a bitchin’ one-man noise band, and the sweetest chinstrap in Williamsburg, but he was on board, and he was vehemently anti-Assad.

2014 Bejamin Norton on how anyone who denied Assad’s genocide was amoral [sic] (expected to be deleted shortly)

On how terrible Assad is, by 2014 Ben Norton, who would make a great debate opponent for 2020 Ben Norton (also expected to be deleted soon)

Screenshot of a since-deleted anti-Assad, Ben Norton tweet from 2014
Suddenly, in 2015 Max and his pet mustachio flipped sides. It just so happens that they became pro-Assad after attending a Moscow luxury Gala; the same event that got Jill Stein and Trump appointment Michael Flynn (who was paid $40,000 for attending) in hot water. They were new true-believers in the Assad regime, and enthusiastic apologists for the murderous actions they had previously railed against.
Was it a Russian buy-out that changed their views? That’s hard to say. Despite Grayzone’s constant evidence-free attacks on other journalists’ supposed connections to the pentagon and the NED (National Endowment of Democracy, which he claims is an instrument of “regime change”), the funding for Grayzone is completely opaque.
It is unclear how they fly a dozen employees around the world and still manage to rent expensive apartments in New York and Washington D.C.
But suddenly Max had a new girlfriend, Anya Parampil (who joined RT in 2014). He also had a new media sponsor and an “Anti-Imperial” axe to grind. Grayzone coverage immediately became pro-Assad. Parampil would soon be fired from RT and go to work full-time for their shadily financed project as they expanded markets and found new countries to exploit outside of the Middle East.
I’m sure it is completely coincidental that everything Grayzone has published since then has towed exactly with the official propaganda coming from the Kremlin, that he suddenly became obsessed with “Russia hysteria” and that his work is now amplified by RT.
But Syria isn’t my area of expertise. Much has been written on Grayzone’s disaster junket-journalism coverage of the Middle East that includes selfies next to torture sites, promoting conspiracy theories about aid group the White Helmets and denying atrocities committed by Assad. My experience lies more in how they have misrepresented Latin America — which they have done with vigor.

But if the story is that the same thing was happening for Biden/Harris....? silence.

Even as I beleive clearly benefiting from "deep state" Intel agencies such as the at best misleading Russian bounties for example.

Russian bounties are as false dragons.Sure you could get a handful of cavedwellers to say they beleive them to be true, but that appears to be the extent of the evidence.

Actually dragons probably have greater amounts of evidence.

As for Russian hackers, your argument is that they released TRUTHFULL documents.....and that is somehow worse than paying people to spread false information under fake names in order to influence public opinion?

These truthfull/Factual documents showed the corruption of the DNC and their ties to legacy media.

Ok so...

(1) Twitter followers slightly increased on Biden's account during 2020 due to sockpuppet accounts

(2) The sockpuppet accounts overwhelmingly never commented, meaning they just existed to increased the number of followers

(3) There is no evidence of who paid for these sockpuppets

Kamala’s KHive trolls boosted by bots while media defends harassment campaigns
MATT ORFALEA·APRIL 16, 2021

While the media defends KHive’s disturbing attacks on critics of Kamala Harris, new findings reveal a Democratic Party-linked bot farm amplified its leaders.
An April 8 LA Times profile of the “KHive” attempted to put a positive spin on Twitter’s nest of Vice President Kamala Harris super fans, omitting the group’s online abuses, offline harassment, and alarming origins. Describing the KHive as “the type of modern political army that politicians increasingly rely on for both support and defense,” the LA Times painted its members as political realists united by a desire to defend one of the most powerful politicians in the country from unfair attacks.

It turns out that Harris’ “modern political army” was manufactured with the aid of an army of fake Twitter accounts. After the term “KHive” was formally branded by MSNBC pundits like Joy Reid, KHive leaders received a boost from a Democratic Party operative-controlled bot farm. One of the people most advanced by the botnet is the widely recognized founder of KHive, Bianca Delarosa.

Delarosa’s KHive is well known for bullying and threatening critics of Vice President Harris.
According to Vox, KHive credited Delarosa with organizing KHive in a Facebook group that started in 2017. Bustle confirmed that many KHive accounts point to Delarosa as the creator of KHive, as did the LA Times’ source, Reecie Colbert, whom it identified as “one of the more prominent members.” During an appearance on CNN pundit Bakari Sellers’ podcast , Colbert credited Delarosa with creating KHive.

Beyond its omission of this obviously salient fact, the Times failed to inform readers that Colbert and the Twitter account @BlackWomenViews were the same person. Instead, the Times quoted Colbert as two separate people.

Democratic Party-connected Twitter bots helped drive KHive
The LA Times let KHive describe themselves as “truth tellers” when, in fact, they are notorious for spreading noxious lies about their political opponents. For instance, KHive spread a baseless lie that journalist Walker Bragman was “literally caught running fake black Twitter accounts.” In reality, it was KHive members who were connected to a network of fake Twitter accounts — some of which used the profile photos of deceased women of color.

In 2018, a forensically detailed investigation discovered a network of Twitter bots run by Democratic Party communications consultant, Sally Albright. Delarosa (then @BravenakBlog) and her fellow KHive ringleader, @WonderKing82, formerly known as @MrDane1982 and @MrWeeks1982, were among the Twitter accounts most promoted by the bot network.

The bots’ “most commonly retweeted negative or positive word” was “racist”, artificially boosting tweets accusing Bernie Sanders supporters of racism.

One of the tweets fraudulently boosted by Albright
In 2019, Albright was again caught gaming Twitter “for fraudulent purposes”. However, her Twitter account was not banned until late 2020, near the end of the election.

At least three of Delarosa’s accounts (@Bravenak, @BravenakBlog, @BiancaNDelarosa) were eventually suspended by Twitter for violations, including “abuse and harassment.” Delarosa’s current Twitter handle is @RealKHiveQueenB. She also uses @QueenBDelarosa, and has used many others, including @KHiveQueenB, @KHiveQueenBee, and @WonderBitch81.

Using multiple accounts to circumvent suspension violates Twitter’s rules. In fact, KHive uses the very same tactics that Twitter banned Q-Anon accounts for using. Yet still to this day, KHive proudly admits to circumventing suspensions as far back as 2015, and remains on Twitter.

Retweeted by Delarosa, Apr 8, 2021
One of the LA Times’ KHive sources, Kenny Walden, tweets under @2RawTooReal. Notorious for calling for the death of Bernie Sanders, Walden has been banned on Twitter at least three times before under various aliases –– @KenneyEyes, @KingOfClapBacks, and @KENNYBOO93 –– for reasons such as “managing multiple Twitter accounts for abusive purposes.”

Violent inspiration
In June 2020, Delarosa unleashed a call for murderous violence: “Like actually killing people for not agreeing”; mocked people promoting MLK as “too soft”; and laughed about breaking someone’s nose with one punch, while blaming the victim – “It’s his fault,” she stated.

Such declarations of violence may be why the Harris-friendly media makes little to no mention of the Queen Bee. However, there was one particularly ironic exception to the code of silence around the KHive’s menacing behavior: MSNBC’s Malcolm Nance. On Twitter, the network’s national security contributor acknowledged that some KHive tweets “openly expressed racism & violent threats”, and asked his followers to report Delarosa.

Instead of being suspended, Delarosa was hailed as KHive’s “brilliant” inspiration.

Threats of harm
In its fawning depiction of KHive, the LA Times failed to mention that its members have taken their harassment campaigns beyond Twitter and into people’s personal lives. Two women told HuffPost that KHive members made threats against their children.

KHive contacted one woman’s ex-husband at his place of employment to tell him he should check on their 11-year old daughter. KHive members accused another woman of being a “white supremacist,” calling her place of work 15 times to get her fired. Then someone filed a report with child protection services and falsely accused her of child abuse.

The LA Times reported that KHiver Chantay Berry denied making threats when she tweeted a list of Harris critics who “may go through some things pretty soon…” However, in a video published on Twitter, the paper’s other KHive source, Kenny Walden, threatened everyone on Berry’s list.

“Something is about to happen to y’all. Ya’ll bout to lose your mother fucking job”, Walden promised. “Every mother fucker who was on Chantay’s list is a fucking revisionist and a white supremacist.”

(The KHive list of alleged “white supremacists” happens to include people of color.)

KHive often insults people for being “white”. Sometimes they’re anti-semitic. Delarosa says “The jews ran off…We’re mad at them for abandoning us to go be white with white people.” In another post, she suggested Jewish people hate Black people.

Albert Molina told HuffPost that KHive repeatedly said he was white and accused him of being a white supremacist, even though he identifies as Hispanic.

Delarosa taunted Molina with a racial slur.

According to LA Times’ the KHive is just a bunch of moderates who “tend to promote pragmatic liberalism.”

Media hypocrisy

The LA Times cast blame on Bernie Sanders, during his 2020 campaign, for his supporters’ “abusive behavior”, To this day, however, the Times defends Kamala Harris from association with the verified “abusive behavior” of KHive. There is literally no mention of “abuse”, and scarcely any allusion to it in the paper’s Kamala stan coverage.

As national political campaigns fight for social media dominance, it is natural that the online bases they establish will attract some deranged individuals. But inside the KHive, the most violently unhinged voices tend to earn the most praise while mainstream media looks the other way.

Harris and her husband, Douglas Emhoff, have openly embraced and encouraged the KHive, praising its members as “pretty awesome.”

I'll start to break it down shortly.

"While the media defends KHive’s disturbing attacks on critics of Kamala Harris"

If by media that extends to the LA Times, yes this is clearly true as we can cite the LA Times article in question.

"Politicians dread the sting of #KHive, the fervent online fans of Kamala Harris"

http://www...s-of-kamala-harris%3f_amp=true

According to this article this "Khive" appears to be an organic grass roots group of people who support Harris. From my perception akin to say the "Bernie Bros"

In that they mostly seem linked by social media accounts and their staunch support for Harris and their attacks against politicians and groups who oppose her or specific legislation.

This seems to be backed up by Wiki claiming either Joy Reid or Bianca Delarosa coined the term "khive"

Both seemingly prominent figures in the group.Although Reid claims the group has no leader, Delarosa claoms to be the leader, at the very least she seems to be the most vocal supporter and different people im the group dispute whether she is the leader or if there is a leader at all.

Likely a knock off of Beyhive for Beyonce supporters.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/KHive

So to recap, all that we can confirm is that.

1. There is a group called "Khive" who are mostly internet supporters of Harris.

2. This group has a self proclaimed leader in Delarosa. A claim that within the group is disputed but at the very least, Delarosa is a prominent figure within the group.

-----

As a matter of fact Biden and Harris seem to acknowledge Khive in an official video for their campaign. Where she callsnthey "pretty Awesome" and they blend video to suggest its mote than just internet supporters as their appears to be a khive parade.

Now the above os not nefarious.

So on to those claims.

Well, random users posting political nonsense (lies, threats, disinformation) by itself meams little. As these could be anyone, however it is important to point out legacy media attacks on such behaviour by "Bernie Bros"

Here are some examples, but Im sure many on here can remember loads of anti Bernie Bros sentiment by legacy media.

"The attacks against Warren come from the same corners of social media that disparage Democrats (like myself) as being “puppets,” “centrist,” “anti-Semitic, and “ageist” for having the audacity to question or scrutinize their chosen leader. People of color and women who dare to disagree with Sanders’ political assertions have often borne the brunt of this abuse.

This hyper-vocal faction of Sanders supporters — colloquially known as “Bernie Bros” — never went away after the 2016 presidential election. In my personal experience, these bros are almost overwhelmingly white men. And they share, like Trump's ardent supporters, a desire to “put me in my place.”

http://www.nbcnews.com/think/amp/ncna1117901

Or how about Vox/Warren/Maddie

"It seemed natural to many that when Sen. Elizabeth Warren dropped out of the presidential race, she would endorse her longtime ally for Bernie Sanders for president. Yet she didn’t — and one reason, judging by her Thursday exit interview with Rachel Maddow, is anger at the way Bernie’s online supporters have behaved.

“I think there’s a real problem with online bullying and online nastiness. I’m not just talking about who said mean things; I’m talking about some really ugly stuff that went on,” she said.

The behavior in question ranges from angry Sanders fans tweeting snake emojis at Warren accusing her of being an anti-Sanders backstabber to online harassment of (generally female) Warren supporters. There have also been accusations that possible Sanders supporters published the home addresses and phone numbers of two women who worked for the Nevada Culinary Union after it produced a fact sheet critical of Sanders’s health care plan.

When Maddow asked if “it’s a particular problem with Sanders supporters,” Warren replied bluntly: “It is. And it just is. It’s just a factual question.”

http://www.vox.com/platform/amp/policy-and-politics/2020/3/9/21168312/bernie-bros-bernie-sanders-chapo-trap-house-dirtbag-left

------
So for the 2nd recap

1.Major left wing media promotes Khive in a good light, even with their online nastiness.

2. Same media/politicians puts Bernie Bros in a bad ligh. For what is essentially the same generic bad behaviour.Let alone MAGA internet users.

So far has the grayzone misrepresented these claims? Or do we agree, so far this seems to be fairly accurate?

Again we have not gotten into the worst claims made by thebarticle so far such as the fake accounts and specific statements made by specific people with ties to Khive and or Biden/Harris.

But Id like to set a base line in what we agree on from the article first.

"when lacking physical evidence"

IT WASN'T LACKING EVIDENCE

read Mueller Vol 1... you think everything in there is made-up speculation??

if you don't trust everyone who does the investigations (intel agencies & Mueller's team weren't politicians), then who exactly are you expecting to determine anything?

================

as to your recap, i agree there are rude/aggressive Bernie Bros & likely rude aggressive KHive (though never heard anyone mention them from left or right unlike Bernie Bros, so seems unlikely they are in as great a number as Bernie Bros... which also is logical as no reason to fervently support Kamala as she's just a VP & they don't do anything)

i haven't seen you make any actual allegations against KHive (although i was skimming, as i'm highly skeptical this is a real issue)

"if you don't trust everyone who does the investigations (intel agencies & Mueller's team weren't politicians), then who exactly are you expecting to determine anything?"

How about us? We can look at the evidence and come to our conclusions.

Otherwise we just take the word of people we dont even know with a poor track record.

On the breakdown I hadnt accused any nefarious acts yet.Honestly, I havn't even tried to verify them yet.I wanted to see what we did agree on.

I had never of Khive before this.

"We can look at the evidence and come to our conclusions"

did you read the Mueller report? there's redactions but still info... are you putting in the effort to even see evidence?

& intel agencies aren't going to declassify everything on everything, so you'll never be able to believe anything i guess

...also, why -wouldn't- Russia help Trump? Putin had an active hatred of Hillary, whereas Trump was a fucking moron who regularly lied & never seemed informed & who said we should be friends w/ Russia & defended Russia/Putin all campaign long, plus had a personal man-love for Putin, hoping to be best friends w/ him & begging for his attention

Do admittedly, the next part was a bit confusing. In steps Sally Albright, who was a Clinton supporter who had been caught with foreign bot farms (although I guess it doesn't matter foreign or domestic)

"In Mexico, allies of President Enrique Peña Nieto have deployed swarms of Twitter bots to overwhelm and effectively shut down online debates. Journalists in the U.S. experienced a similar flood during the 2016 election from pro-Trump, neo-Nazi sock-puppet accounts posting anti-Semitic death threats. Often instead of suppressing speech it doesn’t like, the Chinese government these days drowns it on local social media platforms with a flood of pro-government content. University of North Carolina scholar Zeynep Tufecki has labeled this tactic a new form of censorship.

What the automated accounts deployed by Albright’s unnamed client did was similar."

http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5aa2f548e4b07047bec68023

Clearly no a trumpist source.

But how does this Albright have links to "khive"?

Well the grayzone article claim was this

"

Delarosa (then @BravenakBlog) and her fellow KHive ringleader, @WonderKing82, formerly known as @MrDane1982 and @MrWeeks1982, were among the Twitter accounts most promoted by the bot network."

Now this would be the defining evidence IMHO that would show that this article actually was in fact spot on.

I care less about the Delarosa woman's comments that are violent/racist etc. That got her suspended from Twitter and so on.

While not great, its less nefarious than using fake bot accounts, which really was the main claim anyway. But if your interested these were.posted on FB and Twitter and are easily verifiable.

But we can say, Harris/Biden have accepted support from violent racists.Whether or not they knew this at the time , who knows.

-- ---

Now as for the claim the known fraudster Sally Albright who was a DNC communications consultant for Clinton having said bots promote Khive creator Delarosa and company?

I don't know yet. They cite this claim with that same Huffington post article. And there are a lot of cites/info to unpack.

So I'll look into it more shortly. So far this article really just seems to just be a compilation of older articles and so far has been correct, but they do repeat cites which can make it seem like they have more than they do.

But this claim seems to me to be the makemor break claim.

They did cite the Huffington post article and anothwr link with a bunch of info on albright.

Now whether those links provide evidence or not is yet to be determined. Ive been doing this research in sports because well its tedious and boring.

Your sort of jumping the gun as it doesnt seem you looked for yourself.

i'm not looking deeply as the only source info is an anti-US propaganda site... no one else is talking about it...

the claim is that nobody Sally Albright had bots promoting nobody* Delarosa who is a supporter of Kamala... so doesn't seem that exciting

(*the Delarosa account i found has 26.2K Followers, not super significant... seems like a main account, but maybe she has others):
http://twitter.com/RealKHiveQueenB

the Huffington Post article is about Sally who did have bots in 2018 doing shit, but has nothing to do w/ Delarosa (or Kamala)

The work is in linking the sally bots to promoting Delarosas posts.

Is there an easier way to find out who retreated what posts?

Other than individually skimming pages?

a reader shouldn't have to research it... they cite nothing to back the claim, that's not how news works

"One of the people most advanced by the botnet is the widely recognized founder of KHive, Bianca Delarosa."... then no backing at all of how they determined this...

Krystal Ball & Kumar should be fired immediately for tarnishing the reputation of their outlet

figuring out who these bots were promoting most seems like it would be difficult, & if someone went to the trouble & Grayzone actually had the info, why wouldn't they note it

& even if it -was- true (which i doubt) it doesn't mean much, it's not a Kamala scandal... just amongst people & groups that don't seem too influential

She IS the creator of it. Widely accepted leader, however what's disputed by some is that some claim there is no leader and just that she is the creator/prominent figure.

Generally if a group has a leader(s) its easier to find dirt than just a headless group as one can claim its just a random user.

Look at BLM and its now known Marxist origins.

TW, If it is true its the equivalent Muh Russian bots elected Trump.

I don't see how you dont get that.

Im guessing these are linked.

"TW, If it is true its the equivalent Muh Russian bots elected Trump. "

i see literally nothing similar

also... i can save you some time... since the HuffPo/Sally thing appears to be about anti-Bernie sentiments & Delarosa seems to post anti-Bernie stuff, it's entirely possibly bots retweeted Delarosa (determining she was "One of the people most advanced" seems like it would be extremely difficult & doubt this crap propaganda site did determine it)

however... "so what?" comes to mind... are you dumping the Kamala/KHive stuff & just focusing on anti-Bernie bots helping Hillary? it's entirely possible i guess, not sure how it relates to a foreign power interfering & in much broader fashion

Aa for a reader shouldnt have to do research. They did clearly cite their info. I would hope they verified it themselves, as you have said before ,news agencies generally don't want to cite unverified info....although Im less trusting.

Im just going the extra mile to try and cross verify the individual claims of the cite since you and Y2a called into question the source as a reason to dismiss all claims.

TW, Well my hunch is that since pro Clinton folks would likely be pro Harris/Biden folks which both tend to be anti Bernie that there IS a lot of crossover

And that Delarosa and Albright are linked.Neither seem very reputable to be fair.

I guess the difference in claims then would be that the Muh Russia groups claim is that Putin/Kremlin paid for the Russian Bots and not some party hack.Would that be fair to say?

That said Im not sure what the actual evidence other than assertions is that that was the case.If it was the case , its notnlike Putin would use his personal checking account.

Sally Albright is an American... i'm quite sure other Americans have used bots to help politics

and the allegation is Sally Albright's bots "advanced" Delarosa... which probably means retweeted, but they give -no- examples (nor evidence that Delarosa was the one "most advanced" by the bots)

if true, it means nothing... if you want to interfere in the election just have your bots promote a candidate, not some fan

& again as Sally an American, even if she did it to indirectly help Kamala or anyone else, it's just sleazy behavior (that likely many doing as politicians tend to be sleazy) & she was outed for it when discovered

So, Now that my sleep/meds seem to be back in order, Ive come to the conclusion

For now I will say my source has been inconclusive. For that, my bad.

My reasoning is two fold.

1. Im too lazy to donthe work.

2. Rightfully so, the work shouldn't be this* hard. You wpuld think it they should have done a better job of showing their work.

I will re read the article to see if maybe I missed another source, but the Huff aeticle they posted doesnt definitively name WHO was being propped up and thus I'll say that seems a flimsy source at best.

They have a compilation of data on the topic by some random guy, but from what I skimmed* I didn't see screenshots of retweeting from one source to another.

So instead of searching deeper myself, I will Email rising/the hill and grayzone. To see if I fet a response.

But for the time being, I'll admit I posted a shit source.

I'm glad I did actually try to break it down and read what actual evidence they had. All to often I think dentist skim a headline and use it as definitive proof.

Albeit I had more faith in Saagar than maybe I should have. Generally though I think rising does some.decent work at pointing out flaws in reporting.

They did however show quality evidence that the Khive creator ( possibly "leader,)

Is an admitted racist and violent person. And that Harris/Biden gladly took support from.

So that's something.

Jimmy Dore does a great breakdown of the claims.

Allnof which seem to have panned out except whether or not Sally Albrights bots promoted khive posts.

He even has the actual writer of the article on tontalkmabput it.

After watching Jimmy dores show on it, I went through and realized I made the mistake of missing this link, which DOES* show numerous sally bots promoting Khive posts.

http://shareblueastroturf.netlify.app/

I didn't notice the link before just above the Huff post link.

So actually this does appear to be factual reporting.

I actually feel pretty vindicated, and stupid for missing the link and clicking the wrong one.

But anyway, back to the comparisons.

Trumps "Russian bots" still AFAIK have no links to either Putin or Trump.

So its specualtion.

This seems to show to me that this seems actually worse than Trumps Russian bots since this does link to Biden/Harris in the form that they made an official campaign video promoting Khive, which we now know is mostly a bunch of foreign bot farmers.
