I guess the underlying hypothesis from the title.

Basal Testosterone Renders Individuals More Receptive to Minority Positions

Abstract
Social influence is an inevitable part of human social interaction. Although past research has demonstrated that testosterone has a key role in social interaction, no study has examined its role in social influence so far. Building on previous research showing that minority positions are perceived as risky options and that testosterone is positively associated with status seeking and risk-taking, we hypothesized that basal testosterone renders individuals more receptive to minority positions. In two studies, participants (total N = 250) read messages that were supported by either a numerical majority or minority. As hypothesized, individuals’ levels of basal testosterone were positively related to susceptibility to minority influence. In contrast, susceptibility to majority influence was unaffected by basal testosterone. Given the importance of minorities for innovation and change within societies, our results suggest that individuals with high levels of testosterone may play an important role as catalysts of social change.

The study wasn't on race but minority points of view. A minority opinion you know like 11% of people polled in the USA think heroin should be legal. People with higher levels of testosterone according to the study might be more willing to consider that point of view.

If it were about race the study still would not have shown testosterone makes you less racist. It just shows people with high levels would be willing to hang out with minorities hoping some shit goes down.

Well kargen, it is partly clickbait, but you need to consider the part where they write "testosterone may play an important role as catalysts of social change" and the principle people (and their sex) behind almost every social movement.

So testosterone was responsible for women's suffrage?

Can we still call it the women's suffrage movement or does it need to be less binary?

and isn't it testosterone that causes men to spread their legs on subways raping the air and anyone that passes by?

"and isn't it testosterone that causes men to spread their legs on subways raping the air and anyone that passes by?"

If by men you mean Nimatzo, no, he just ran out of weed. That behaviour is entirely unacceptable, I still walk funny!

I said almost, but you do point out something I forgot - Women also have testosterone.

Women with higher levels of testosterone also tend to have the behavior associated with and typically found in men, risk taking, status seeking etc.

It wasn't necessarily where I was going, but sure :)

Or it could just be male pattern baldness driving social change. What else are you going to do after all?

"What else are you going to do after all?"

You know the expression, idle hands are the devils hands, what is also true is that idle men don't get laid. You have to do stuff to be attractive and women, well we like women just for being women, I guess you can say they have an inherent value.

Idle hands are the devil’s workshop; idle lips are his mouthpiece.

Not my expression, it's from some silly fiction book in the 70s. I think they call it the "Living Bible" or something idk.
