This is a phenomenon that has been happening for a decade, but which Trump had really accelerated.

All of the neocon fucks who cheered for the Iraq War have been fleeing the GOP and finding refuge with the Democrats. And the Democrats are embracing them with open arms, because as the party of The Establishment (TM) they are all for military adventurism.

I freely admit I supported the war back then. I eventually realized my mistake and changed my political outlook. For over a decade now, I have held political views which, if implemented, that would prevent another Iraq War from ever happening.

Meanwhile, YOU are aligned with the party that is now all gung-ho about military adventures. YOU are the party that cheerleads the military-national security complex, that wants to invade Syria to save the Kurds, that adores former generals and CIA heads who make appearances on MSNBC to criticize the orange man.
