Member | Sun Dec 29 12:00:57 LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL ---- Biden regrets leaving presidential race, thinks he could’ve beaten Trump: report By Rich Calder Published Dec. 28, 2024, 6:51 p.m. ET President Biden privately regrets dropping out of this year’s presidential election and reportedly insists he could’ve beaten President-elect Trump if he wasn’t pushed out of the race by his own party. Biden and some of his aides have boasted to confidantes “in recent days” that the president should’ve stayed in the race and could’ve won a second term, the Washington Post reported Saturday citing multiple anonymous sources briefed on the conversations. http://nyp...ce-thinks-he-would-beat-trump/ |

Member | Sun Dec 29 12:11:57 Yes, the clearly senile idiot whose administration (which nobody believed he was even in charge of) was massively underwater on issues like the economy and immigration was going to win. Because he won in 2020, and nothing whatsoever had changed since 2020. Keep inhaling that copium murder. |

large member | Sun Dec 29 12:28:53 Well, the whole point of Harris was her unelectability to the highest office. That is why she was chosen as VP. A more viable candidate would have challenged Biden in the primaries if not before. Biden is just saying "did you not recognize a poison pill when you see one"? He may very well have done better than Harris. A woman of colour? What was the DNC thinking? |

Member | Sun Dec 29 17:39:17 "Yes, the clearly senile idiot ..." The senile idiot did win. A senile idiot has won the past three cycles. Senility is not the barrier that you want to think it is. "... was massively underwater on issues like the economy and immigration was going to win." Polling again? None of it matters. When casting a ballot voters have a choice of available candidates. The only thing that matters is whether voters would have chosen Trump or Biden. One of those two had already won a head to head election. One of those two had already been fired by voters. Democrats committed suicide by stupidity. - |

Member | Sun Dec 29 18:38:05 jergul and murder We elected a black man in 2008. And then re-elected him in 2012. The claim that "xyz identity can't win in the US on account of their skin color" has literally been defunct for coming on two decades now. Get some new material boys. |

Member | Sun Dec 29 18:38:31 Er, rather jergul and WTB. Murder, to his credit, didn't make such a ridiculously outdated claim. |
williamthebastard
Member | Sun Dec 29 18:41:12 We? Lol! You sure didnt elect him. The right who are obsessed with identity politics sure didnt elect him. |
Rugian
Member | Sun Dec 29 18:43:16 So are you claiming that the country that elected a black person twice in 2008 is incapable of electing another one 16 years later? That makes...no sense. |
williamthebastard
Member | Sun Dec 29 18:43:56 The right reacted by getting enraged by a black man winning and coming out in force to elect as far as possible the whitest guy with the whitest Village People dance moves in the West they could find. |

Member | Sun Dec 29 18:47:01 What makes no sense is your usual complete dishonest pretences, this time pretending that the left and the right in the US aren't completely different groups with utterly different agendas. Your childish dishonesty makes your childishly dishonest arguments not worth reading, as always. Socratic debate is about pitting honest viewpoints to see which one is strongest. You just tour in utterly see-through salesman junk that you dont even believe yourself |

Member | Sun Dec 29 18:52:25 Okay, yeah, you're right. I and half of the rest of the country been frothing at the mouth with rage for the last two decades over the fact that we elected a negro, because clearly that's the only reason why anyone could possibly have an issue with Obama, Democrats, or the left. Of course that's not remotely true, but it seems to be the only vision of America that you'll accept, so fuck it, let's run with it. |

Member | Sun Dec 29 19:09:06 Oh shit, you caught me! That was clearly a Freudian slip where I inadvertently exposed my own irredeemable racism, as opposed to me intentionally using a provocative term to help lean into the insane perspective that WTB thinks a majority of Americans hold. You got me sir. Well done. |

large member | Mon Dec 30 06:03:41 Ruggy You miss the part of Harris being a woman? Being a woman of colour makes it worse. I think my analysis was spot on. The DNC let biden choose a poison pill. He should have been primaried as a matter of principle. |

iChihuaha | Mon Dec 30 06:12:44 Or maybe the only thing she brought to the table was the color of her vagina, because the guy who hired her, literally said as much. And you know ultimately it just wasn’t enough that her vagina was black. |
Rugian
Member | Mon Dec 30 06:34:40 Jergul You think wrong. Harris was considered a poison pill because she was universally recognized to be an incompetent politician. Her race and gender were irrelevant to that calculation. To pose a question to you. If Harris had been a straight white man, what qualities of her would you have found so inspiring as to be able to convince a majority of Americans to enthusiastically support her? |

Member | Mon Dec 30 06:56:15 ”her vagina was black” - Nimatzo All women's vaginas are pink. Maybe you mean that her labia and her pubic hair are black? |

iChihuaha | Mon Dec 30 07:05:06 Paramounts only contact with a vagina is the technical illustration found on a sex ed pamphlet. ACHTHUALLY! |

Member | Mon Dec 30 07:16:52 Murder I don't know how you don't get this. American voters tend to punish incumbency. Especially during times of crisis, but even when things are going decently they tend to want new blood. In 2020 Biden-Harris were the "outsiders" coming in at a time when the country was suffering from Chinavirus and BLM. With those tailwinds, Biden was able to (falsely) portray himself as a moderate who would bring an end to the craziness of the Trump era and as a transitional president who wouldn't do anything too radical. That was enough for most voters that year. In 2024, Biden and Harris were coming in as the incumbents who owned everything from the last four years, including rampant inflation, the border crisis, crime in the cities, woke extremism, and so on. The claims of being a moderate were thoroughly debunked. The administration was tone deaf, insisting that they were amazing even when a clear majority of the country thought otherwise. Tack on the fact that voters finally woke up to the top of the ticket being an actually senile demented old man who has no business making executive decisions, and you had an administration whose image was thoroughly tarnished. The fact that your thought process is literally "well Biden won in 2020 so he would have won in 2024" is hilarious. Things change murder. |
