I admitted I was wrong on the factual (Wow, Israel did something really stupid escalating expecting this to work out different than all the other times it has done something really stupid escalating), then updated that (Well, the Assad regime fell and Israel made a serious landgrab in Syria. The post oct 7th actually worked out for Israel. Colour me surprised). Why do you ask?
