No, they all make the news. But there are tons of private planes over here. It's not usual for smaller planes to crash.

Its hard for the poor socialist countries to comprehend how many planes we have. Other than the regional jet that the blackhawk killed its been a normal month.

Deltas like "pro tip... you can remove yourself from the fire by ripping the wings off."

news has pretty much been hurricane, fire, plane crash, plane crash, cold, Super Bowl, plane crash, flood, plane crash, cold, mud, plane crash and cold on a 24 hour cycle.
If you look back at this same time period in Bidens term there were more plane crashes than has happened since Trump took office.
Seems like more because the plane/helicopter collision has put even small crashes in the 24 hour news cycle.

The pilot must have miscalculated the height to the ground and came down a bit too hard. The wheels broke, the wings hit the ground and broke, and then the plane started to roll around.

Ya the pilot really dei-ed that landing. A little plane on a big runway like that in such wind... should have carried a bit of extra speed to fight through the gusts.

In 2024 the US averaged almost 4 crashes per day. That is approximately one crash for every 100,000 hours flight time.

"That is approximately one crash for every 100,000 hours flight time."

That is the normal crash rate for small planes... having improved slightly with the adoption of tcas over my career(which would have avoided the one close call i had in pre-tcas days). The majority of crashes are still morons who are not good at flying in clouds, who fly into clouds.

I should say tcas/adsb
