The Islamic Republic was a foregone conclusion too based on our limited ability to impose an outcome. We can make their lives even more difficult, but we have no way of stopping them from developing nukes short of glassing the entire country. I'm not convinced that he's folded on the tariffs yet though. I think he's in retreat for the moment, but I fully expect the tariff nonsense to rear its ugly head again within weeks. Probably as soon as he can push Powell out as Fed Chair. - |
