Magyr just announced Hungary is creasing funding for CPAC. The US one.

Why was Orban funding CPAC? We know he's been distributing money all over Europe to far right parties and candidates (likely on behalf of Russia).

Hungary is half of a former empire. It has the same noblesse oblige stakeholders in the former British Empire has. So the Hungarian Conservative movement supported ideologically aligned groups elsewhere.

Still does. The break with CPAC is just a consequence of understanding US conservatism is incompatible with European conservative views.

I would not expect Hungary to break with its European brethren. Magyar is cut from the same cloth as Orban after all.

Soros would be Biden's EDRI and CEP funding schemes, designed explicitly to advance their causes in Eastern European judicial systems and "democratic institutions".

Hundreds of millions of dollars to advance the Soros playbook in multiple nations, including Ukraine and Hungary.

Because Orban and Putin have a shared agenda and coordinate extensively and that's and excellent way ton funnel money after 2014 when the more direct Russian funneling of cash to far right parties came under scrutiny and crack down.

It's a bit of a coincidence isn't it, when Russia gets caught funnelling cash to Farrage via Aaron Banks though under priced asset sales, suddenly Hungarys collegium thing steps in.
