Dummy, your information bubble is a cesspool.

You are also very dishonourable and impractical.

People in distress at sea are to be rescued.
Vessels in territorial waters attempting illegal activity are to be siezed.

What happens therafter? Well, 50k are granted refugee status eventually (number from 2025).

A number completely dwarfed by 500k from developing countries getting student visas and 250k from developing countries getting work permits.

So yah, you want the UK to murder people at sea because of your anectdote driven understanding of the world.

Get a better bubble. The shit you are inhaling makes your breath smell bad.

Oh yes, the Black Shorts are just peaceful protestors who shut down the fucking lifeboats, and whose leader was caught on camera trying to sink a boat with a lifeboat man on it.

Should do an Argentinan Junta on the lot of them: one way helicopter ride a hundred miles into the north sea.

Sounds expensive. Give them one of the refugee dinghies and send them towards France. Maybe the French rescue service will pick them up.

"you want the UK to murder people"

Wrong duncemuffin. I want the UK to send them home. But you, you actually want your migrants to murder and rape UK people.

"was caught on camera trying to sink a boat with a lifeboat man on it."

Press this button to cast doubt on what a known liar and retard says.

Even in the unlikely event this was true, much better to sink a criminal than to allow the rape of your civilization.

Stumbled upon the video. A British patriot is attempting to disable an abandoned raft, apparently one that had been or was intended to ship rapists to the UK.

A British or French coast guardsman then jumps onto the raft. The guardsman is wearing a dry suit and the weather is perfect(absolutely 0 risk). There is no migrant on the raft.

Lol.

As we all knew, seb is utterly full of shit.

NaMBLA:

https://ww...de-while-rescue-worker-onboard

Easily dismissed lies. A rescue worker boards the boat before Thomas - a criminal - reaches the boat. He can be seen entering on the left of the shot behind Thomas in the picture The boat is under custody at this point so there's no need to disable it and render it a menace to shipping as it can be towed back for disposal.

Tomas then attempts to slash the inflatable element of the dinghy.

NaMBLA - a compulsive liar with a habit for twisting truth to justify his unsavoury and illegal predilections.

NaMBLA:

What I said was "trying to sink a boat with a lifeboat man on it". This is beyond doubt. It's on film. You saw the film. You lied about it. Now you continue to lie.

"So no migrants on board, and no risk to anyone"

1. The boat has been seized. He's vandalising UK govt property.

2. There was a rescue worker on the boat, who is put at risk.

3. By making the boat harder to recover, he's obstructing law enforcement and creating a danger to shipping by leaving floating, partially submerged debris.

On the shore, the group he leads have shut down to lifeboat stations. This endangers everyone at sea. Migrant boats account for less than 3% of at sea rescues RNLI conducts.

The group he professes to lead has twice shut down UK critical national infrastructure.

Palestine Action were designated a terrorist organisation for exactly that.

These guys are traitors to the UK, they openly talk about interfering with elections and breaching poll stations.

It's time to take the gloves off and treat them like the terrorists they are.

Yes it's a risk (also a crime). Nowhere is a migrant even applied.

He would, he works for a guy who keeps going on paid trips to Moscow.

Sam Adams

"lifeboat man" in that context clearly means migrant. No human level mind could possibly think otherwise. No human would possibly use those words to try to say coast guardsman.

So you are either subhuman or are just lieing again to try to cover up for your previous retarded lie.

Possibly both lol.

NaMBLA:

No you fucking retard. A Lifeboatman is the term used for the crew of a lifeboat recue craft commissioned by the Royal National Lifeboat Institute. The clue is in the name. I even referenced them in an earlier post.

https://rnli.org/

for example of the term in use, see here:

https://rn...y/28/lifeboatman-runs-marathon

If you google the term, googles AI will literally return you a blurb about the RNLI and a picture of a lifeboat decked out in their colours.

Coastguard is an entirely different organisation, originally formed as part of customs and excise to address smuggling, not rescue at sea. They now work together, with coastguard coordinating search and rescue and tasking RNLI where rescue-at-sea is needed, and other agencies as appropriate where rescue-from-land - with coastguards own operational branch still focusing on policing and crime but doing rescue-by-air.

https://hmcoastguard.uk/

RNLI handles operational rescue-at-sea, coastgurad provides command and control. You would not see a coastguard staff boarding a boat like this unless it was a drugs bust (and even then more likely police in the channel).

Cretin. You just don't understand what you are talking about. See a term you don't recognise, make a moronic inference without even checking google.

And how the fuck would you think that "lifeboatman" implies a migrant anyway? Migrants man lifeboats?

"ESA awarded 18 contracts worth a combined €20 million for studies of future applications and missions related to the ESA-led component of the low-LEO layer (below 750 km) of the constellation"

Don't follow. This says they signed contracts - doesn't mean low-LEO layer is new to the programme.

In any case it's not necessarily true that the only architecture for direct to smartphone requires VLEO. That's just one way to do it and if you have a lot of spare cheap launch capacity it is a good one.

Obviously that's not a sovereign capability Europe has so going down an exclusive VLEO architecture for IRIS2 doesn't make sense at this point. Might do if Europe decides to develop or acquire sovereign launch capability at the scale and cost SpaceX has, but I suspect short term a hybrid architecture makes sense: one that fits European sovereign launch capacity or where reliance on US launch isn't critical.

jergul
rank
Thu Sep 24 14:10:33

VLEO as a component in the constellation is fair enough. Hybrid architecture gives baseline flexibility.

"studies of future...missions...of the low leo" is how I read it. Fits with what ESA actually does in the programme. Technical study.

In civilised parts of the world civil rescue isn't an ad-hoc function of law enforcement agencies.

*You* call it coastguard for the same reason you call mental health first responders "the police".

Also the lifeboats on a ship get their name from the shore based rescue craft put to sea from the shore after a coastal wreck.

I.e. you are back to front. Again.

NaMBLA:

US coastguard was a revenue service - literally the same model as England. Only got rescue functions in 1915 merged in, and that was done to protect it from abolition by making it a military service. Pointing out the basic problem with the US which is its basic incapability of conceiving of civilian services as a genuinely important state function.

From its own website:

"The U.S. Coast Guard is simultaneously and at all times a military force and federal law enforcement agency"

It does rescue. It's primarily a military/ LEA agency.

Also which nation of retards steamed strait into an iceberg on a clear calm night prompting that new effort in maritime rescue? I wonder.
