I had no intention of caring about the Oscars at all, but because that Joel Haver anti-Oscars video had "Oscars" in the name, YouTube fed me a clip of Will Smith "hitting" Chris Rock after Rock joked about Jada's lack of hair (due to her Alopecia). Chris Rock adjusts his right foot beforehand (like he's trying to get the correct positioning), he seems to be intentionally making his jaw more accessible, and Will Smith strikes with a weird knife-hand/slap motion like a wrestler pulling a punch. This might be how the Oscars covers up that they're just an irrelevant propaganda apparatus.

I'm hoping that thieves will stick to dealerships and large targets, but these stories of random people being hit don't help my perceptions. Dealers have apparently been trying to get manufacturers to start putting VIN numbers on the converters, but I don't think that would help for people who intend to sell the converter for the metal itself.
